Bayern Munich have now confirmed a pre-season tour to Asia to mark the 10th edition of the club’s Audi Summer Tour.
This will see the reigning Bundesliga champions visit both South Korea and Hong Kong in early August.
Information on ticket sales will be released down the line.
Speaking to CF Bayern Insider, Christian Falk said: “Bayern confirmed: The tenth edition of FC Bayern’s Audi Summer Tour, from August 1st to 8th, will once again take the German champions to Asia this summer – first to the South Korean island of Jeju, then to Hong Kong.
“Two Audi Football Summits are scheduled as part of the trip: In South Korea, head coach Vincent Kompany’s team will play against Jeju SK FC on August 4th, and on August 7th at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong against the traditional English club Aston Villa.
“Further information regarding ticket sales will be announced at a later date.”
FC Bayern last conducted an Asian tour in the summer of 2023 (though they did visit South Korea with Vincent Kompany in 2024 for a clash with Tottenham).

Then Bayern manager, Thomas Tuchel, oversaw his side’s pre-season preparations in friendlies with Liverpool, Manchester City and Kawasaki Frontale.
FC Bayern’s Board Member for Marketing & Sales said: “It speaks volumes that FC Bayern will be holding its tenth Audi Summer Tour in Munich.
“In football, the number ’10’ signifies setting the pace and influencing developments. Internationalisation is essential for German football as a whole to continue its evolution – and FC Bayern has been a pioneer in this area for years: We are based in Munich, yet we keep our fans and partners around the world in mind.
“Around one billion people support FC Bayern, roughly half of whom are from Asia. We are very much looking forward to this journey.”
With football enjoying immeasurable growth across the globe, it’s important that giants like FC Bayern double down on their efforts to expand their reach.
The Asian market represents an excellent opportunity to support that personal objective, as well as the wider objective of expanding the appeal of German football beyond Europe.
