Michael Olise is enjoying a dream campaign with Bayern Munich this season, racking up 16 goals and 27 assists from 39 matches in all competitions.

The 24-year-old Frenchman, along with Harry Kane, has been the Bavarians’ best player this season and his accomplishments have not gone unnoticed.

Real Madrid, for one, have said to have taken an interest in Olise. In fact, according to some reports in Germany, club president Florentino Perez is prepared to offer around €160 million to secure his transfer.

Meanwhile, Liverpool, too, have shown an interest in the former Crystal Palace star as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah, who has announced his departure at the end of the season.

Bayern Munich not worried

Despite the growing speculations, Bayern Munich are not at all worried about the future of Olise, the club sporting director Max Eberl has cofirmed.

“It doesn’t matter which club is interested in him : anyone who plays for FC Bayern knows what they have here,” Eberl stated in an interview with SportBILD (h/t Mundo Deportivo).

Continuing, he added: “Michael has a contract with us until 2029, with no release clause; we’re calm.”

Do Real Madrid need Olise?

Real Madrid could certainly use a player of Olise’s quality, given that the right wing has been a problematic position.

Rodrygo Goes endured a difficult season which was only made worse by an ACL injury which will keep him out of action potentially until the end of the year.

Meanwhile, new signing Franco Mastantuono’s prominence has declined after a positive start.

Alvaro Arbeloa has tweaked his tactics in recent weeks, deploying a four-man midfield system in which Federico Valverde has occupied the right flank and excelled.

But a player of Olise’s abilities, with his best years ahead of him, would certainly be a welcome addition. However, any move in the summer is pretty much out of the question, with Bayern unwilling to consider a sale.
