I didn’t have the time for it in February and March. I want to enjoy the time now in crunch time, and then I’ll think about what happens next.“

This makes it clear that Neuer is currently fully focused on his sporting goals. In the decisive phase of the season with potential titles in the Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Champions League, he does not want to be distracted by questions about the future

His physical condition remains a key factor in his decision-making process. In recent months, Neuer has repeatedly struggled with minor muscular problems and has missed several games as a result

Nevertheless, his fundamental motivation remains unbroken. „I’m definitely enjoying it,“ the 2014 world champion made clear – a sentence that at least leaves the door open for an extension

FC Bayern are also taking a relaxed approach to the situation. Those responsible are aware of Neuer’s importance to the club and are therefore giving him the time he needs. According to BILD, the Munich club are even prepared to wait until the end of the season for a decision

One thing is clear: Manuel Neuer decides for himself when and how he wants to continue, and as long as he performs at this level, every option at FC Bayern will be carefully examined.
