FC Bayern will host Union Berlin in the Bundesliga in just under an hour’s time and we bring you the starting line-ups for the game.
After their commanding 4-1 win over Atalanta Bergamo in the Champions League, Munich are looking to add to their tally in the league. The aim at the Allianz Arena is to confirm their strong form and secure another three-pointer. Even though many thoughts are already turning to Madrid and the CL quarter-finals ahead of the international break, Munich want to keep their focus high.
Vincent Kompany has made five changes to his team compared to the second leg of the round of 16 tie against Bergamo, with Jonas Urbig again in goal as Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich remain injured.
Josip Stanisic, Dayot Upamecano, Minjae Kim and Konrad Laimer form the back four. Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito are unavailable through injury, while Jonathan Tah is also missing after his yellow card suspension. Kompany will rely on Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in central midfield, while Aleksandar Pavlovic is absent through injury.
In attack, Michael Olise, Lennart Karl and Serge Gnabry will start behind Harry Kane in the center of attack. Luis Díaz is suspended after his yellow card in the game in Leverkusen, Nicolas Jackson is also unavailable after being sent off. Jamal Musiala is also not in the squad.
Raphaël Guerreiro and Tom Bischof are among those on the bench who could provide further impetus as the game progresses. A number of youngsters are also back in the squad and offer additional options for the remainder of the match.
