Bayern Munich are keen to offload Arsenal target Kingsley Coman this summer to raise transfer funds.
The Bundesliga side are looking to bring in funds to help facilitate a move for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz. Discussions have been held between Wirtz’s representatives and Bayern over a potential move to the Allianz Arena.
However, Bayern face competition for Wirtz from Real Madrid and Manchester City, while a release clause of €125m (£107m) would represent a record purchase.
Sky Germany are reporting that Coman is one of several players Bayern are willing to offload.
The France international has started just 12 league games for the Bavarians this season and is on Arsenal’s radar. The North London side want to bring in additional competition in their forward line, with attacking injuries having derailed their Premier League title challenge.
Coman has recorded 139 goals and assists in 331 appearances for Bayern since joining the club from Juventus on an initial loan deal in 2015. He has won eight Bundesliga titles with the German giants and the 2019/20 Champions League. Coman scored the winner in that latter final success over Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern are keen to retain the services of Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane for next season but will listen to offers for Coman. The 28-year-old could join Thomas Muller in leaving the Allianz Arena after it was decided the latter’s contract would not be renewed.
