Bayern Munich are close to agreement on a €55 million deal to sign Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Sky.
The clubs are understood to be finalising the balance between the fixed fee and add-ons, with a full agreement edging nearer. That would rank as the Bundesliga's second costliest deal for a full-back.
Bayern triggered Lucas Hernández's €80 million clause at Atlético Madrid in 2019.
Brown is expected to start for Germany on Sunday against debutants Curaçao in their World Cup opener.
It would mark the 22-year-old left-back's first competitive start.
