Bayern Munich Injury Update: Latest on Urbig, Musiala, Davies and Neuer | OneFootball

Vincent Kompany delivered a fresh injury update on Friday, confirming Jonas Urbig, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies will miss Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Bayer Leverkusen after being hurt in Wednesday’s 6-1 win over Atalanta.

According to BuLi News, the Bayern coach said discussions with medical staff are ongoing over Urbig, and he is hopeful the goalkeeper could return to action sometime next week.

Kompany added that Musiala might be able to resume training at the start of next week, with the situation to be assessed.

He said the international break should help Davies, and expressed hope of having a full squad once club football resumes.

Manuel Neuer remains out with a muscle fibre tear. Kompany considers an early April comeback realistic and said they would probably wait until after the international break for him as well.
