Bayern Munich face Wolfsburg in a Bundesliga match on Saturday, marking their final away game of the season before finishing at home next week.
Vincent Kompany’s side have already secured their 35th Bundesliga title, but their recent form has been mixed. They were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals after a 1–1 draw at home to PSG, losing 6–5 on aggregate. In the league, Bayern drew 3–3 with Heidenheim and edged Mainz 4–3. However, their away record remains outstanding, as they are unbeaten in their last 25 matches on the road.
Bayern travel to the Volkswagen Arena with some concerns over fitness and injuries. Alphonso Davies has been ruled out with a hamstring injury picked up in Europe, joining Serge Gnabry and Sven Ulreich on the sidelines. Long-term absentees David Santos Daiber and Cassiano Kiala are also unavailable.
With fatigue in the squad, rotation is expected. Nicolas Jackson could start up front in place of Harry Kane, while Leon Goretzka and Jonas Urbig are likely to feature. Goretzka may be nearing the end of his time at the club.
Michael Olise, Luis Díaz, and Jamal Musiala are all available, though Lennart Karl and Raphael Guerreiro could be preferred in the starting lineup.
Possible Bayern Munich starting XI: Urbig; Stanisic, Kim, Ito, Davies; Goretzka, Ndiaye; Karl, Guerreiro, Diaz; Jackson
The match will kick off at 5:30pm BST on Saturday, 9th May.
The Bundesliga match between Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich will be broadcast on Sky Sports Football in the United Kingdom.
