The move comes after Kane’s strong impact since arriving from Tottenham in 2023 in a transfer worth £104 million. Bayern’s leaders believe the striker remains central to their long-term plans.

Record-Breaking numbers in Germany

Since joining Bayern, the 32 year-old delivered impressive numbers. Kane scored 130 goal in 133 match across all competitions.

He is also leading the Bundesliga top scorers list this season with 30 goal confirming his importance in the team’s attack.

Because of this form, Bayern are ready to reward him with a significant salary increase according to the German newspaper Bild.

Highest salary in Bundesliga history?

Kane currently earns about £400,000 per week but Bayern are reportedly prepared to raise that figure in a new deal.

If the extension is completed with the planned salary increase, Kane could become the highest-paid player in Bundesliga history.

The striker also had a release clause in his contract but it expired at the end of January, and Kane chose not to activate it.

Kane’s arrival in 2023 marked one of the biggest transfers in Bayern Munich’s history. The English forward quickly became the team’s main goal scorer and one of the leaders in the dressing room.
