A leading member of the attacking ranks at Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich was spotted in the crowd at Real Madrid’s meeting with Las Palmas this evening.

The player in question? Serge Gnabry.

Real Madrid are of course fresh off a dominant victory, which saw the reigning Spanish champions recover from an early deficit to ultimately emerge on the right side of a 4-1 result.

Brace-hitter Kylian Mbappé took the majority of the headlines, owing to a brilliant individual display.

Also on the lips of many a Real supporter, though, was the name of David Alaba.

After a spell of almost 400 days on the sidelines with an ACL injury, defender Alaba marked his return to the pitch on Sunday, featuring off the bench for the game’s closing stages.

And watching on to showcase his support for the Austrian was one of Alaba’s former teammates.

As showcased below, spotted in the stands at the Santiago Bernabéu was Serge Gnabry, with whom Alaba is known to maintain a close friendship following their time spent together at Bayern Munich:
