La Liga giants Barcelona are at serious risk of missing out on a leading summer transfer market to another of the continent’s top clubs.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Luis Díaz as the player in question.
Wide-man Díaz has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines across Europe over recent days.
As much comes amid alleged interest in his services on the part of both Barcelona, and Bayern Munich.
In the case of the former, the Blaugrana have pivoted back towards the Colombian, after coming up short in efforts to land Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
German champions Bayern, meanwhile, already on the lookout for attacking reinforcements following Leroy Sané’s departure, over the weekend lost Jamal Musiala to a long-term injury.
The Bavarians are therefore also ready to ramp up their pursuit of Luis Díaz.
And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then the board at the Allianz Arena are viewed as being in a superior position than their Camp Nou counterparts when it comes to the chances of striking a deal with Liverpool.
As per a report from Sport:
‘Bayern have entered the bidding strongly and would be willing to offer a higher sum than Barça.’
