Bayern prodigy ranks fifth on top 50 teenage wonderkids list

Every year, Goal.com ranks the world’s best teenage talents by compiling a list of the most promising young players.

On Tuesday, the football outlet released their NXGN 2026 list, featuring the top talents born on or after 1 January 2007.

FC Bayern Munich are represented in the top 10, with Lennart Karl ranked fifth.

However, he is not the only representative of German football. Luka Vuskovic, on loan at Hamburger SV from Tottenham Hotspur, is ranked seventh, while Hertha Berlin’s Kennet Eichhorn is 27th. RB Leipzig’s Andrija Maksimovic comes in at 31st, and Werder Bremen’s Karim Coulibaly is 38th.

The top 10 is as follows:

  • Lamine Yamal, FC Barcelona
  • Estêvão, Chelsea
  • Pau Cubarsí, FC Barcelona
  • Franco Mastantuono, Real Madrid
  • Lennart Karl, FC Bayern 
  • Max Dowman, Arsenal
  • Luka Vuskovic, Hamburger SV (on loan from Tottenham Hotspur)
  • Ayyoub Bouaddi, Lille
  • Geovany Quenda, Sporting CP
  • Ethan Nwaneri, Marseille (on loan from Arsenal)
