Erblin Osmani is on the verge of signing his first professional contract with Bayern Munich, with a deal running to 2029 expected in the coming days, according to Sky Germany.

The defensive midfielder, a Germany U-17 international, has been training regularly with the Bundesliga champions since February.

He was handed his first senior minutes by Vincent Kompany, featuring for three minutes in the 4-0 win against Union Berlin.

The Munich-born left-footer was then sidelined by back problems, though the club continue to hold him in high regard.

Bayern plan for the teenager to keep training with the first team next season while getting game time for the U-19 team.
