FC Bayern’s plans for Harry Kane are apparently becoming more and more concrete. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen spoke openly about the future of the English superstar after the Bundesliga final against 1. FC Köln – and sent clear signals
The fact that Munich want to extend Kane’s contract beyond 2027 has long been an open secret internally. Dreesen has now made it clear how close the relationship between club and player has become. „Harry’s advisor is his brother. His father also supports him. We have a good relationship with them,“ explained the Bayern boss
Particularly important for those responsible: Kane and his family seem to have settled in completely in Munich. „Harry and his family feel very comfortable in Munich,“ Dreesen emphasized
The CEO then went on to say that the club is hoping for a long-term partnership: „Hopefully we will continue our collaboration after next season,“ said the 57-year-old
According to sport.de, Munich are already working intensively behind the scenes on possible future scenarios , with the record champions currently leaning towards a so-called „1+1“ model
Kane would initially extend his contract until 2028, but both sides could also extend the deal again until 2029 via an option
The main reason for this is the Englishman’s age
A long-term contract over several years is apparently seen internally as a financial risk – at the same time, Bayern are keen to keep their goalscorer

Interestingly, Munich would apparently like to reach an agreement before the start of the World Cup, although Kane has not yet received an official offer
The 32-year-old himself is currently said to be much more relaxed about the situation and feels no time pressure.
