Bayeux, one of the two Régional 1 sides still in, will face Marseille in the Coupe de France last 32 on the weekend of 10 and 11 January. According to L'Équipe, PSG will host neighbours Paris FC, a week after their Ligue 1 meeting on 4 January at the Parc des Princes.
The ties were drawn by Gaël Fickou just before the final match of the previous round between Lyon and Saint-Cyr/Collonges, also of Régional 1. France’s three-quarter centre, capped 98 times, gave Bayeux the dream pairing and the Normandy squad erupted together.
The draw also produced a potential clash between Lille and Lyon if Lyon beat Saint-Cyr/Collonges. Nice will meet Nantes in a repeat of the 2022 final. Ligue 1 leaders Lens travel to Sochaux of National.
The other Régional 1 survivors, Montreuil, will face Amiens of Ligue 2. Avranches of National 2, who beat Brest on penalties in the last round, 1-1, 5-4, will host Strasbourg and look for another Ligue 1 upset.
Chantilly of National 2 are paired with Rennes, while Monaco head to Orléans of National. Angers face Toulouse as the competition resumes next month.
