Clinton Morrison has slammed Enzo Maresca for making “ridiculous decisions” after Chelsea lost ground in the race for Champions League football.
The Blues had to come from two goals down to rescue a point at home to Ipswich on Sunday, and they now sit sixth, albeit just one point outside the top five.
Maresca made the strange choice to blame supporters for the second Ipswich goal, which is unlikely to go down well at a time he really needs the fans.
In truth Chelsea have been poor since Christmas and the style of play has come under criticism from supporters in recent weeks.
Some fans have already made their mind up and want the Italian gone, although it’s believed his job is safe for now.
Given it’s just his second season as a manager you would expect mistakes, but there have been some interesting decisions in recent weeks, including the team selection against Brentford.

Former Premier League player Morrison isn’t impressed and has slammed Maresca for making “ridiculous decisions.”
“He is making ridiculous decisions,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I know a lot of Chelsea fans and they are not happy with Maresca. His decision making is not right and five wins in 16 league games is nowhere near good enough.
“Chelsea will fall out of the Champions League spots because they don’t have one easy game in the run-in.”
The Blues are said to believe Maresca can become of the best managers in the industry, and now would be a great time for the Italian to show what he can do.
