Ben Jacobs names player Chelsea are “genuine suitors” for this summer, PSG interested | OneFootball

Chelsea are one of four clubs who are “genuine” suitors for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers this summer according to Ben Jacobs.

Having had a quiet January the Blues are once again expected to be busy in the summer with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.

Chelsea are reportedly still in the market for a centre back, whilst they are said to want to add another midfielder and attacker.

Chelsea one of four clubs interested in Morgan Rogers

It’s been reported the Blues are open to signing players with proven Premier League experience this summer, but fans will believe it when they see it.

Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked, but whether that happens remains to be seen.

Chelsea are thought to be looking for an attacker who can play both from the left and centrally, with Rogers a name that’s been linked previously.

It’s been said any move for Rogers could cost in excess of £80m, and Jacobs has reported Chelsea are one of four “genuine” suitors.

He took to X.com and said:

“Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG are the most genuine suitors for Morgan Rogers.

“Liverpool and Bayern not as active as of now. Understand Rogers is just as open to a move abroad as staying in England and has admiration for Luis Enrique.”

Rogers has been in good form for Villa this season with 12 goals and nine assists in 48 appearances in all competitions.
