Ben Jacobs’ update on Saudi and PSG interest in Chelsea’s £100m problem | OneFootball

Enzo Fernandez is moving towards the exit at Chelsea, and it’s already becoming a discussion of who wants him rather than whether he will go.

The story about Enzo Fernandez wanting to leave Chelsea has moved about as quickly as you’d expect it to.

Once the Argentine midfielder had opened the door over a potential move, there was no holding back the tide of rumours. Ben Jacobs is always plugged in at Chelsea, and his latest update for TalkSport has a lot on the subject of the former Benfica man.

Fernandez prefers La Liga option over alternatives

Fernandez has denied he’s had talks with Real Madrid, but that doesn’t change the fact that he wants to go there. They seem like favourites over other options right now:

“talkSPORT understands his preference is a switch to LaLiga, and that PSG have not taken any steps to try and sign the Chelsea midfielder despite several reports,” Jacobs wrote.

“Fernandez does have genuine interest from Al Ittihad but is not open to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career.”

Jacobs adds that the midfielder hasn’t informed Chelsea “directly” that he wants to go – but that doesn’t change much.
