Benfica consider 10 million euro move for Taras Mykhavko as Marselha and Trabzonspor monitor | OneFootball

Taras Mykhavko has been linked with Benfica, with Marselha and Trabzonspor also tracking the 21-year-old Dínamo Kiev centre-back.

According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica are said to be preparing a bid of around 10 million euros for the defender.

Despite the rumours, Mykhavko is not expected to feature in Benfica’s plans for this transfer window, with the hierarchy led by Rui Costa working on alternative defensive targets.

Benfica intend to recruit two centre-backs with different profiles for next season, prioritising an experienced option to compete for a starting place with António Silva and Tomás Araújo.

Regarded as a promising talent in his homeland, Mykhavko recently won his first senior caps for Ukraine. He played 39 times for Dínamo Kiev in 2026/27, scoring six goals.
