A Bola reports that negotiations over Andreas Schjelderup between Benfica and Club Brugge remain active, with no agreement in sight. Benfica are holding out for a higher fee.
The Belgian side consider Rui Costa's terms to be high. Benfica want around 15 million euros and to keep a percentage of any future sale.
Club Brugge have offered eight million euros, plus a further four million in add-ons. The figures are short of Benfica's position.
The No 21 has given the green light to a move to the Jupiler Pro League club.
This season Schjelderup, valued at 14 million euros, has made 25 appearances for Benfica. That includes 13 in Liga Portugal Betclic, seven in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. Across 1,146 minutes he has scored two goals and supplied three assists.
