Benfica have led Portuguese clubs for UEFA income over the past decade, spanning 2015 to 2025, with totals disclosed at UEFA's annual congress in Brussels. According to Glorioso 1904, their receipts from Champions League, Europa League and Conference League outstripped domestic rivals.
Across the 10-year window Benfica brought in around 458.3 million euros, ahead of Porto on 438.5 million, Sporting 223.5 million and Braga 114.2 million.
Last season, Portuguese clubs combined for 159.7 million euros in Europe. Benfica led on 71.4 million, with Sporting on 49 million and Porto 16.5 million, underscoring the value of sustained participation.
In the 2025/26 Champions League, Benfica have already secured about 53 million euros from entry to the league phase, coefficient payments and reaching the play-off against Real Madrid. That figure could rise by a further 11 million with a possible last 16 qualification.
While others have posted strong seasons, Benfica's financial returns have been the most consistent across the period. The advantage supports squad investment, youth development and a competitive presence in continental competitions.
