Benfica are increasingly close to signing André from Corinthians in a deal that could become one of their costliest of the summer. According to Glorioso 1904, recent talk of 15 million euros now looks set to be higher.
The Rui Costa-led board have tabled 18 million euros guaranteed, with a further 3 million in add-ons, taking the package to 21 million euros.
The offer is believed to have been received very positively by Corinthians, not only for the amount but also due to the proposed payment schedule, which places Benfica in a favourable position against international rivals.
Milan were among the clubs monitoring the 19-year-old and also tried to move for him. Even so, Benfica are said to have presented a more attractive financial package, significantly improving their chances of closing the transfer.
Benfica’s interest in André predates the summer, as he was identified as a priority target in the winter window. He is valued at 16 million euros, has 29 appearances in 2026 and has scored five goals.
