The Portuguese club was impressed by the performances of the 22-year-old player and has already obtained the player’s approval for his stay in Lisbon.

Roma can, however, stop everything by paying a million to the Portuguese club.

Having arrived in Portugal last January, Dahl has so far made 12 appearances for Benfica in all competitions.

In the Primeira Liga he has played 9 games (5 as a starter), with a total of 495 minutes played and 3 assists.

In the Champions League he has accumulated 155 minutes in 3 appearances, showing excellent data: 87.34% accuracy in passes (49 completed out of 57 attempted), 4 tackles won, 7 balls recovered and a maximum recorded speed of 32.8 km/h.

In Taça de Portugal he played 3 games, providing 2 assists in 259 minutes overall. Benfica sees Dahl as a profile of perspective and value, and aims to integrate him permanently into the squad.

Roma, for their part, could gain an interesting capital gain from the operation. The future of the young defender now seems oriented towards a permanence in Portugal, even if anything can still happen.
