Juventus host Benfica on Wednesday, 21 January, at 20:00 in Turin in the seventh round of the Champions League league phase. According to Glorioso 1904, the Italians will be without Daniele Rugani, Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik.

The Bianconeri completed their final training session before the tie and head in under pressure after defeat to Cagliari in Serie A.

Luciano Spalletti did not have the trio available in that session. He has João Mário and Francisco Conceição in his squad and is waiting on winter window reinforcements.

For this European game, the Italian coach is considering leaving Kenan Yildiz on the bench. The 20-year-old Turkish winger is the club’s leading scorer with eight goals, but a congested schedule through to eight February counts against him.

The sides arrive off contrasting league results, with Benfica beating Rio Ave 2-0 and Juventus losing at Cagliari. In the Champions League, the Italian side sit in the play-off places on nine points, while José Mourinho’s team have six, one behind Copenhagen, Napoli and Qarabag, the final teams currently in play-off position.

A pre-match media briefing with a player is scheduled for 19:00 today.
