Benfica ‘to enquire about’ Oleksandr Zubkov after Felipe Augusto interest confirmed | OneFootball

Benfica, led by Rui Costa, have asked about Trabzonspor winger Oleksandr Zubkov alongside their Felipe Augusto link, according to Glorioso 1904.

Club president Ertugrul Dogan has already confirmed the rumours around Felipe Augusto. He has since been confronted with claims that Benfica are assessing a move for Zubkov.

The Ukraine international, capped 45 times, has impressed this season and drawn interest from several clubs, including Benfica. The club could sell players in the summer, which might open room for the 29-year-old.

For now, the Zubkov talk remains only a rumour, with no formal approach made. The Felipe Augusto pursuit is further along, and Benfica know Trabzonspor seek around 22 million euros.

Zubkov is valued at 7 million euros and has played 35 official games this season, 30 in the Süper Lig, four in the Türkiye Cup and one in the Super Cup. He has 2,425 minutes, four goals and eight assists.
