Bernardo Silva slammed referee Darren England after Manchester Citys 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in matchweek 29, a result that leaves City seven points behind Arsenal with one game in hand.

"We are used to this this season. Every 50-50 has gone against us. For me it is a penalty with Erling," he told TNT Sports.

City dropped two points against relegation candidates on Wednesday night, while Arsenal won 1-0 at Brighton. In the second half at 2-1, Erling Haaland broke clear and appeared to be brought down by keeper Matz Sels.

Pep Guardiola described the gap as significant and said his side played well, created chances and wanted to concede fewer goals. He added he would not blame his players after they failed to finish the job.

City visit West Ham, coached by Nuno Espírito Santo, at the London Stadium on 14 March at 12:30 in matchweek 30.
