Besiktas have lodged two bids for Santos goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, both rejected by the club, ESPN reports.
The proposals were worth €7 million, around R$ 43 million, and €12 million, about R$ 74.17 million.
At the start of the season, Flamengo identified a shortlist of goalkeepers that included Brazão, but he preferred to remain at Santos while waiting to see if a European offer would arrive.
Given Santos’s high valuation, Flamengo chose not to advance and instead signed Andrew Ventura from Gil Vicente in Portugal to compete with Rossi.
The Rio club paid €1.5 million, plus 10% of a future sale, to secure Andrew Ventura’s immediate release.
Since that signing, it has not been clear whether Flamengo will return for Brazão.
