A new supercomputer has delivered a big Leeds United call in its predicted final 2026-27 Premier League table as the club prepare for their second season back in the top flight.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the projection contrasts with last term, when Leeds finished 14th, eight points clear of relegation and four places above West Ham.
The 2026-27 campaign will also feature promoted trio Coventry City as Championship winners, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off victors Hull City, all aiming to survive their first season back. Leeds and Sunderland are pursuing second-season safety, a challenge chairman Paraag Marathe has warned can often be tougher than the first.
Sunderland also have Europa League duties after last season’s seventh-placed finish. While bookmakers generally expect the Black Cats to struggle, the BettingLounge model suggests otherwise.
The supercomputer forecasts Arsenal as champions on 82 points, with Manchester City second on 80, Liverpool third on 72 and Aston Villa fourth on 68. Manchester United are tipped for fifth on 65, with Chelsea sixth on 61.
