Bild report Jadon Sancho is still hopeful of joining Borussia Dortmund as a free agent. According to the report, the former England international is open to the possibility of joining BVB for the third time in his career.

However, he has to accept a significant salary decrease if he wants to return to Signal Iduna Park (Westfalenstadion). It’s still unclear whether the Bundesliga side are planning to proceed with the signing.

Sancho joined Manchester United for a reported €85 million fee from Dortmund five years ago. However, he has now left the club as a free agent after a disappointing spell with the English giants. He last played regularly for Manchester United during the 2022/23 campaign.

Since then, he reached all three European finals with Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa on loan deals. Unai Emery’s side are closing on signing Sancho’s former teammate Alejandro Garnacho, which ended any hopes of a permanent transfer to Aston Villa for the player who featured in 39 games last season.
