Billiards: Porto duo shine on the world stage

José Miguel Soares and Rui Manuel Costa are traveling to Belgium this Tuesday to participate in a new stage of the Three-Cushion World Cup. José Miguel Soares enters the pre-qualifications starting Wednesday, while Rui Manuel Costa makes his debut in the event on Thursday, in the qualification phase for the final bracket.

The stay of the National Champion in Antwerp extends until the following week, as José Miguel Soares will be representing Portugal in the World Championship. In the fight for a place in the final bracket of this prestigious competition, the FC Porto player will face Colombian Pedro González and Vietnamese Tran Thanh Luc on October 14.
