Birmingham bus diversions and road closures for Aston Villa victory parade tonight | OneFootball

According to ExpressAndStar.com, several Birmingham bus routes will be diverted and roads closed this evening as Aston Villa celebrate their Europa League final win with a victory parade.

Youri Tielemans, Emi Buendia and Morgan Rogers scored in a 3-0 win over Freiburg in Istanbul on 20 May. The parade is scheduled for tonight, 21 May.

National Express West Midlands services expected to be diverted or use temporary stops include 8A, 8C, 829, 9, 126, X10, X8, 822, 12, 13, 82, 87 and 101, plus Diamond routes 16A, 50 and 50A.

Road closures will include Broad Street, Centenary Square and Warstone Lane, with parking suspensions in place from approximately 10:00 to 22:00.

Access to some car parks and buildings on affected roads may be difficult, and heavy traffic is expected across the city due to the parade, road closures and ongoing roadworks. Areas including Digbeth, Holloway Circus and locations near the route are expected to be especially busy.
