The Rojiblanco goal will remain in very good hands, as Chivas Femenil’s Sporting Department has reached an agreement with Blanca Félix, who has extended her contract with the club she loves through 2029.
Blanca, the only player who has remained with the team since its foundation in 2017, is one of Chivas Femenil’s greatest icons in Liga MX Femenil. With a total of 257 appearances and 22,889 minutes played, no one has worn the Guadalajara jersey more times than she has. In fact, the goalkeeper is on the verge of reaching 100 clean sheets, currently sitting at 99, a remarkable achievement that confirms her reliability between the posts.
The Sinaloa native can proudly boast all three official titles won by Chivas Femenil in Liga MX Femenil: the Apertura 2017 championship, the Clausura 2022 title, and the AP21-CL22 Campeón de Campeones trophy.
Her leadership and deep connection to Guadalajara naturally led her to become one of the team’s captains, a role in which she has served as a guide for both her teammates and the future generations emerging from the Cantera Rojiblanca.
Her legacy holds a special place in the club’s history, which is why we are thrilled to share this news with the entire Nación Rojiblanca.
WE’VE GOT BLANCA FOR YEARS TO COME, CHIVAHERMANOS!
