Boca reveal who’ll take charge at the start of pre-season

Just days before the start of preseason, Boca confirmed who will be the head coach to begin working with the team. The management has decided to keep Claudio Úbeda as the main coach along with his assistants.

Juan Román Riquelme and Marcelo Delgado decided on the continuity of the staff that arrived with Miguel Ángel Russo. With a contract valid until mid-2026, el Sifón will continue to lead the team in the Torneo Apertura, the Copa Argentina, and the first half of the Copa Libertadores.

Despite rumors suggesting that an assistant coach would be sought to join the staff, this will not be the case—at least for now. The coaching staff has been notified that they will maintain the current structure and no one will be imposed on them.
