Serie A side Bologna are facing the possibility of losing Dan Ndoye this summer and after links with Napoli, Nottingham Forest are also interested in the winger.
Gianluca di Marzio had reported about the Tricky Trees’ liking for the Swiss but Bologna sporting director Marco Di Vaio was asked about the player’s in a chat with Sky Sport.
When speaking about Ndoye, Di Vaio revealed that attempts are ongoing to hand the winger a new contract.
He said, via Di Marzio, revealing that no official offers have arrived: “The boy has been appreciated, but not officially.”
Speaking about the new contract, the sporting director claimed: “We’re talking to him about the possibility of extending and improving his contract; he’s open to it, and we’re happy about that. We’ll see what the second half of the transfer window tells us, but we want to maintain our structure and remain competitive next year as well.”
Bologna have already sold Sam Beukema to Napoli and have seen Jhon Lucumi get linked with a move to England and AS Roma. This is clearly turning into another window where they will lose key players and face the possibility of replacing them after qualifying for Europe.
