Wanderers are hoping to conclude deals with Charlton and QPR that would add another two players to Steven Schumacher's squad.
Bolton Wanderers are eyeing up a deal for Charlton Athletic's Gassan Ahadme, whilst QPR have offered young forward Alfie Lloyd to the Trotters on loan.
Wanderers are being highly aggressive in the transfer market this summer as they look to put a disappointing 24/25 season behind them.
It was a campaign that saw the Trotters miss out on a League One play-off place for the first time in two years, and would be a term that would cost Ian Evatt his job in January.
However, with Steven Schumacher now ready to lead the club into his first full season in charge at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, Bolton have made no less than nine new signings in what has been a very busy summer so far.
They may well be about to take their number of incomings into double figures too.
That's because according to journalist Darren Witcoop reporting via his X account on Sunday morning, Bolton are interested in a move for Charlton striker Gassan Ahadme, as their deal for Celtic's Johnny Kenny is now understood to have stalled.
The 24-year-old Moroccan only signed for the Addicks last summer, in a deal with Ipswich Town that reportedly cost the club £1m.
However, Bolton aren't finished there according to Witcoop, as it's reported that QPR have offered young forward Alfie Lloyd to the Trotters on loan.
Lloyd, 22, can operate as either a centre-forward or as a left winger, and joined the R's from Yeovil Town in the summer of 2021, and is also understood to have been offered to a host of League One sides, with Leyton Orient one of those who are also interested in a deal.
Charlie Kelman officially became a Charlton player on Sunday, completing what is reported to be a £3.5m potentially rising to £5m move from QPR.
The 23-year-old won the League One golden boot award last season whilst out on loan with Leyton Orient, firing home 21 goals in the third tier, whilst adding a further two in the play-offs and another four in various cup competitions.
As a result, Ahadme is now firmly down the pecking order at The Valley, with Nathan Jones having a plethora of centre-forward options to choose from, including: Miles Leaburn, Tanto Olaofe and Matt Godden respectively.
Now armed with a significant cash injection, and with a host of strikers still on the books such as Michael Frey, Zan Celar and Rayan Kolli respectively, Lloyd also seems to be comfortably down the pecking order at Loftus Road.
The youngster was able to make 31 total appearances for the Hoops last term, but of the 27 Championship outings he made, just four were as part of the starting XI, and he was only able to bag two goals for his efforts.
Therefore, Bolton look set to be the big beneficiaries of this Kelman deal between Charlton and QPR, as Schumacher looks set to continue his summer recruitment drive with two new additions from the Championship.
