Bookmakers have issued a fresh prediction for the final Premier League table after a big Leeds lift and contrasting results for rivals. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, updated odds reflect a pivotal weekend at both ends.

Daniel Farke’s fifth-bottom Leeds beat fourth-bottom Nottingham Forest 3-1 at Elland Road on Friday night, moving three points clear of Forest. The result also put the Whites nine points above the drop zone.

On Saturday, third-bottom West Ham won 2-0 at second-bottom Burnley, trimming Leeds’ cushion back to six points. The Hammers are now three behind Forest.

Leeds’ victory left them level on points with Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs then lost 2-0 at Manchester United.

On Sunday, Palace earned their first league win of the year, 1-0 at Brighton, to reach 13th and go three points above Leeds. Brighton slipped to 14th, two clear of the Whites.

The bookmakers’ new projection places Arsenal first at 1-4, Manchester City second at 4-1, Manchester United third at 50-1, Aston Villa fourth at 150-1, Chelsea fifth at 200-1 and Liverpool sixth at 500-1.
