Leeds United have signed Tarik Muharemovic ahead of their second season back in the Premier League, and attention now turns to how bookmakers see their prospects.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the latest title and relegation prices sketch out a projected 2026-27 table, featuring notably strong calls on Leeds and Sunderland after last season’s finishes.
Muharemovic, a Bosnia and Herzegovina international centre-back, arrived from Serie A side Sassuolo and was unveiled on Friday afternoon. His fee makes him the second most expensive signing in United’s history, behind the £35.5m paid for Georginio Rutter.
Nine days earlier Leeds added Harry Wilson on a free transfer following his release by Fulham. Muharemovic is the club’s second signing of the summer.
The move leaves the spotlight on where the odds now place the Whites for 2026-27.
