Borussia Dortmund ‘to consider’ Nick Woltemade as potential Guirassy replacement | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund are considering Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade as a possible replacement for Serhou Guirassy, Bild reports, with Guirassy said to be targeting a summer exit.

Woltemade has been added to the options after Fisnik Asllani was initially mentioned. BVB are said to be monitoring the 24-year-old closely.

He joined Newcastle from VfB Stuttgart last summer for a reported €75 million.

The forward has so far insisted he is not looking to leave the Premier League side, although that could change depending on how the season finishes.

He has been in and out of Newcastle’s line-up recently and has often been used in a deeper role than he prefers.

A permanent move is viewed as highly unlikely at this stage, with a loan considered the more realistic route. Woltemade has 10 goals and five assists in 45 appearances this season.
