The 25-year-old prefers a move to Manchester City, while Liverpool could also enter the race.

Bournemouth have started making preparations for Semenyo’s exit, and have identified Leicester forward Fatawu as his replacement.

The 21-year-old has been earning rave reviews with his performances since joining the Foxes from Sporting CP.

Leicester have had a turbulent 2025-26 campaign, but Fatawu has impressed in the Championship.

Fatawu has bagged four goals and six assists in 23 league appearances this season.

Bournemouth have also been linked with Nottingham Forest’s James McAtee, but Fatawu is regarded as a more suitable option.

The young forward is quick and highly skilful. He can create and score goals, qualities that make him suitable to replace Semenyo. Bournemouth could sign Fatawu for around £30m.

The Cherries have developed a reputation for undertaking shrewd transfer business, and a move for Fatawu would continue that trend.
