Bournemouth in talks over Christos Mandas loan from Lazio

Bournemouth are interested in Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas.

According to Bournemouth Echo, the clubs are in talks over a potential loan.

Bournemouth have already added veteran Fraser Forster on a six-month deal in January after Will Dennis sustained an injury.

Mandas has played once for Lazio this season, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over AC Milan in the Italian cup round of 16. He has been named on the bench for every Serie A match.

The 24-year-old joined from OFI in 2023 and has twice represented Greece at senior level, having featured through the U16s to U21s.

He debuted off the bench against Malta in June 2024, then made his first start in a friendly with Slovakia, conceding once in a 4-1 victory. He was on the bench for all of Greece’s World Cup qualifiers.
