Reports on Sunday claim that Brahim Diaz is open to the idea of joining Juventus on a season-long loan deal, but Real Madrid want to definitively settle the ongoing situation involving Como and Nico Paz first.
Juventus are looking to strengthen Luciano Spalletti’s squad following the team’s failure to qualify for the Champions League in the final weeks of the Serie A season, and recent reports claim that former Milan loanee is a possibility for the Bianconeri.
Diaz provided two goals and nine assists from 42 appearances across all competitions in a season where he largely served as an understudy to the likes of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.
The 26-year-old has plenty of competition for a spot in the Real Madrid line-up: Their attacking department includes the aforementioned Vinicis, Rodrygo and also Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler, Franco Mastantuono and Endrick. And, there is a chance that Como’s Nico Paz is added to that list this summer.
For that reason, Brahim is open to the idea of joining Juventus on a straight, season-long loan deal, not including an option to buy according to Sunday’s reports from Tuttosport.

Sunday’s update claims that Real Madrid are unlikely to oppose the idea of sending Diaz out on loan for the season, but there are a few other priorities to sort out first, most importantly the club’s upcoming Presidential election.
Madrid also need to settle the Nico Paz situation with Como. The Spanish giants have an option to buy the Argentina international back from Como for a fee of €9m this summer, and will have another option to buy him back for €10m in 2027, and for now, it is not 100% clear where Paz will be playing his football in 2026-27.
If he does return to Madrid this summer, then Diaz is expected to fall further down the pecking order, which could play nicely into Juventus’s hands.
