The Brasileirão Feminino Série A title race remains tight after 12 matches, with the leaders narrowly ahead of a close chasing pack.

The middle of the table is congested, with several sides between 21 and 14 points, many carrying slender or neutral goal differences.

At the other end, the bottom two have five and three points from 11 matches, behind a group on six to 12 who have each played 12.

The scoring charts are led by five players on six goals, namely Bia Zaneratto, Tainá Maranhão, Marília, Gabi Zanotti and Pimenta. The pursuers on five include Brena, Rafa Mineira, Darlene, Jaque Ribeiro and Cássia, with a further cluster on four such as Byanca Brasil, Andressa Alves and Wendy Carballo.
