Brazil staff to attend two Palmeiras fixtures before next call-up | OneFootball

According to Nosso Palestra, the federation has scheduled in-person scouting across seven matches, including two Palmeiras fixtures, ahead of the 16 March squad announcement.

The programme starts on Tuesday 10, when head coach Carlo Ancelotti and director of selections Rodrigo Caetano will watch Mirassol v Santos. Neymar has been rested and is not expected to feature.

On Thursday 12, Caetano and staff member Thomaz Araújo will be at São Januário for Vasco v Palmeiras.

On Saturday 14, Ancelotti is set to attend Botafogo v Flamengo at Nilton Santos, alongside Caetano, technical coordinator Juan Santos and performance analyst Simone Montanaro.

On Sunday 15, assistant coach Davide Ancelotti will join Thomaz Araújo at Allianz Parque for Palmeiras v Mirassol.

The next Brazil squad will be named on 16 March, following this observation run. It will be the last before the final World Cup call-up.
