Arsenal have confirmed a landmark agreement to sign Ecuadorian teenage twins Edwin and Holger Quintero from South American club Independiente del Valle.
The 16-year-olds, widely tipped as two of Ecuador’s brightest upcoming talents, are set to join the Gunners when they turn 18 in August 2027.
The signing represents a significant boost to Arsenal’s youth recruitment strategy, as the club continues to scout globally for promising prospects to replenish their academy ranks.

The move underscores the club’s long-term vision, prioritising potential and development ahead of immediate first-team impact.
Edwin is primarily a right-winger, celebrated for his blistering pace, dribbling flair and close-control, qualities that have already earned him comparisons to a young Neymar. His twin, Holger, operates mainly as an attacking or central midfielder, known for technical ability and creative midfield play.
