Record reports that the 31-year-old former Portugal international has trained at Seixal without limitation and is ready to return, making the No seven available to José Mourinho.

The winger had been under the care of Benfica’s medical staff for the past two months and was included in the preliminary list for the derby, but was held back.

He previously missed time with an Achilles tendon rupture in July 2025. He has not been named in a matchday squad since February, when he was selected for the Champions League play-off first leg against Real Madrid, which ended 1-0 to the Spaniards.

Bruma is now racing to be considered for the final four fixtures of the season, beginning with the home meeting with Moreirense on Saturday, 25 April, at Estádio da Luz.

This season he has featured in only two official games since returning from the Achilles injury, totalling 13 minutes with no direct goal involvement. He is valued at €five million.
