Manchester United captain will have one year left on his deal in the summer
Bruno Fernandes is reportedly not planning to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, but will assess his future at the end of the season.
Fernandes, who resisted a move to Al-Hilal last summer after talks with his family and former Man United head coach Ruben Amorim, has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international, in an interview with Canal 11 last month, revealed he has turned down two offers to leave at the request of the club.
Rumours of a potential exit this month for Fernandes has accelerated in recent days following more upheaval at Man Utd since the turn of the year.
Reports have suggesting Fernandes is considering his future at Old Trafford as the midfielder’s meeting with Carlos Fernandes, one of Amorim’s coaches, in the wake of the managerial change heightened fears for some that the 31-year-old might be looking for an exit route.
However, as per the BBC, Fernandes remains committed to the club and, as planned, will reassess the situation in the summer, when he will have one year left on his contract.

Fernandes has previously named his three ideal destinations should be leave Man United in the near future.
“I would like to experience the Spanish league and fight for big titles in Italy," he told Canal 11. "I have many connections to Italy… my daughter was born there.
"I’ve already thought about returning to Portugal… the first option would be Sporting. To be happy, like it was with Sporting. But I don’t want to ruin the image that was left.
"But I don’t want to drag myself there, I want to add to it. And even try district football, at an advanced age. You play in the district for love, you feel different. I have friends in the district."
