Flamengo could have Bruno Henrique back after the FIFA window, with the forward due to rejoin training in the coming days. According to Globo.com, he is recovering from pubalgia and could be available for Red Bull Bragantino on two April or Santos on five April.
He has not played since the Recopa Sudamericana decider against Lanús on 26 February. He missed six matches, one under Filipe Luís, then five with new head coach Leonardo Jardim, who has yet to field him.
Pubalgia causes pain in the pubis and groin from repetitive strain, and is usually managed with rest, anti-inflammatories, physiotherapy and gradual loading. Simple cases often need at least one month.
He returned to on-pitch work at the training ground last week, starting physiotherapy on the grass. His programme is being stepped up, including an initial phase of individual ball work.
He is not yet with the group, with reintegration planned during the FIFA window. The squad return on Wednesday after two days off, when he will be assessed, and clearance will depend on pain.
This is his final contract year and the club have opened renewal talks with his representatives. No terms are set, but both sides want him to stay, and president Bap said last week he should retire at the club.
Alongside Arrascaeta, he is Flamengo’s joint most decorated player with 17 trophies since 2019. In 2026 he has nine appearances, two goals and two assists.
