Bruno Henrique out of Flamengo’s game at Bragantino | OneFootball

Bruno Henrique will miss Flamengo’s trip to Bragantino in the Brasileirão on Thursday, having been left out of Leonardo Jardim’s matchday squad.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the forward did not travel with team-mates as the squad flew to the interior of São Paulo. He has trained normally in recent days after a month sidelined with pubalgia.

Although the problem has healed, he is still completing the final phase of physical conditioning following treatment.

His most recent appearance was in the Recopa Sul-Americana, a defeat to Lanús at the Maracanã, when he played 45 minutes. He has not yet featured under Jardim.

Jorge Carrascal was part of Wednesday’s travel party, having been freed from national-team duty on Sunday after Colombia’s loss to France. The status of other internationals from Uruguay, Ecuador and Brazil remains unclear after fixtures on Tuesday.

Arrascaeta, Varela, De La Cruz, Plata, Danilo and Léo Pereira return to Brazil on Wednesday and will be assessed, with the likelihood they start on the bench. Plata has not convinced Jardim recently, was omitted against Corinthians, and could miss out again.

Bragantino v Flamengo kicks off at 21:30 Brasília time on Thursday in Bragança Paulista. Globo will show the game free-to-air across much of Brazil.
