Bukayo Saka hints at PSG preference for Budapest final | OneFootball

Bukayo Saka hinted he would prefer PSG as Arsenal’s opponents in the Champions League final on 30 May in Budapest after the Gunners secured qualification on Tuesday.

"Come on, guys, you know you cannot ask me that, I am going to give you a media-trained answer" (laughs), he said on CBS Sports.

Pressed by Micah Richards, he added: "More seriously, deep down, you know very well who I want to face."

The suggestion points to a shot at revenge, as the European champions, PSG, eliminated Arsenal in last season’s semi-finals, 0-1 and 1-2.

There was a similar note last summer when Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez publicly called for a PSG tie before the league-phase draw. Chelsea later met the French club in the last 16 and were comprehensively beaten, 2-5 and 0-3.
