The Canadian could be set to leave the Vitality Stadium in some form
The 2026/27 summer transfer window is now open for clubs throughout the EFL to start officially conducting business, and several moves throughout the Championship appear to have already been plotted.
For many sides in the second tier next term, their chances of achieving promotion glory to the Premier League may have been enhanced by the expansion of the play-off system, with the sides who finish seventh and eighth now incorporated within the post-season lottery due to the addition of initial 'eliminator' ties ahead of the standard two-legged semi-finals and the final.
Already, the trio of clubs who were relegated from the top-flight last season, West Ham United, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers, have been tipped to make immediate bids for promotion, even though uncertainty is still rife at the London Stadium, Turf Moor and Molineux for differing reasons as things stand.
Beyond those three sides, it is very much already hard to call as to who will also be involved in the upcoming promotion race, especially after the EFL's other addition of Squad Cost Rules, which allows all 24 clubs to spend up to a maximum of 85% of the money which they generate through transfer sales and commercial dealings.
The likes of Birmingham City and Wrexham have been tipped to benefit massively from those changes due to the attention they receive in America as a result of high-profile investment, while Middlesbrough and Norwich City have also been earmarked as further contenders for promotion in the first full seasons under Kim Hellberg and Philippe Clement, respectively.
And, with the window only a matter of days old, at least three of those sides are now locked in what looks set to be an intriguing transfer race for a recent household name in the Championship.

That's because, according to TEAMtalk, the three aforementioned sides, as well as the East Lancashire rivals of Burnley and Blackburn Rovers, are interested in acquiring the services of AFC Bournemouth's Canadian forward, Daniel Jebbison.
The publication have outlined exactly how the Cherries feel about the next step in the career of the 22-year-old forward, who hails from Oakville, Ontario, and has seven caps for his country.
Marco Rose has recently replaced Andoni Iraola in charge of the Dorset outfit, and it has been suggested that the club's plan is to send the forward out on loan once more, having spent the 2025/26 season with another second tier side, Preston North End.
Bournemouth reportedly see Jebbison becoming a key figure in the years to come, albeit there is a chance that the newly-promoted trio of Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City could make a bid to sign him permanently as they look to ensure survival in the Premier League.
Last term, Jebbison scored six times and produced two assists in 40 appearances for the Lilywhites, but was not selected as part of Jesse Marsch's 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Two summers ago, the striker moved to Bournemouth from Sheffield United on a four-year contract, but has only made 21 appearances for his current employers, scoring three times.

Amid such links, it has been claimed that the array of Championship sides plotting loan swoops for Jebbison are significantly impressed by his speed and ability to press.
Birmingham, in particular, have seen the likes of Marvin Ducksch linked with moves away, which could open the door for the Canadian to join an attack already including the likes of Jay Stansfield and August Priske.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough's end to the season was one in which Hellberg's side continued to adopt an unrelenting style of play in which teams were often dominated in every metric but the scoreline, which was, again, a theme in their play-off final loss to Hull despite the 14-goal season of Morgan Whittaker.
Tommy Conway is currently sidelined, while David Strelec and Kaly Sene are still yet to make a real impact, and given the attributes mentioned, Jebbison could prove to be a real short-term asset for Hellberg if the Teesside outfit are to mount another promotion bid.
